Product

Virtual Editor is a desktop editing app by VirtuEdit. It helps users import Recorder packages, edit reaction video timing, maintain YouTube sync metadata, and export a Viewer-ready package.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the videos, audio, images, captions, sync JSON, and other content you import or create. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights needed to import, edit, export, upload, and distribute your content.

Local Files and Exports

You are responsible for keeping backups of original files, choosing the correct export destination, reviewing exported MP4 and JSON files, and confirming that Viewer playback stays synced after third-party upload or transcoding.

YouTube and Third-Party Services

Virtual Editor may preview YouTube content for sync editing. YouTube and any other third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. VirtuEdit is not responsible for third-party upload processing, takedowns, account restrictions, transcoding delays, or playback changes outside the app.

Acceptable Use

Do not use Virtual Editor to violate copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights; create, export, or distribute illegal content; bypass platform terms, DRM, access controls, or security protections; or misrepresent sync metadata or exported files in a way that harms users or third parties.

Software Changes

Virtual Editor may change over time. Features, file formats, export behavior, and platform integrations may be updated as the product develops.

No Warranty

Virtual Editor is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Editing and export results should be reviewed before publishing.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VirtuEdit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, upload failures, platform restrictions, or content claims arising from use of the app.

Third-Party Components

Virtual Editor includes third-party open-source components, including FFmpeg-related tooling. See Third-party Notices for notices and license information.
