Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your React Central account and request deletion of associated account data. React Central is operated by VirtuEdit.

Delete Your Account on the Web

If you are signed in on this browser, you can delete your account here. This permanently deletes your React Central account and associated server-side account data.

Delete Your Account in the App

Open the React Central app.
Sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open Settings.
Select Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

You can also start account deletion from the signed-in app. This verifies that you control the account on that device.

Request Help by Email

If you cannot access the app or sign in on the web, send a deletion request to help@virtuedit.com from the email address connected to your React Central account.

Please include your account email, username or nickname if known, and the sign-in method you used, such as email, Google, or Apple.

Data Deleted

When an account deletion request is completed, React Central deletes the account record and associated server-side account data where applicable, including user-owned React Central video records, saved videos, likes, subscriptions, blocks, reports connected to the account or deleted videos, notifications, profile details, and authentication data.

Local Device Data

Some data is stored only on your device, such as local watch history, resume position, recent searches, hidden videos, hidden creators, and cached account data. You can clear local watch history and recent searches in the app settings. Uninstalling the app or clearing app storage may remove remaining local device data.

Data We May Retain

We may retain limited records when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, accounting, or enforcing our terms. If we retain any data for these reasons, we limit it to what is necessary for the relevant purpose. These limited records are retained only for as long as required for those purposes or as required by law, and are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

Timing

In-app deletion and signed-in web deletion are processed immediately when available. Email deletion requests are reviewed after we verify account ownership. We aim to respond within a reasonable period and may ask for additional information if we cannot identify or verify the account.
