Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the React Central iOS and Android apps and React Central web experience operated by VirtuEdit.

Information You Provide

When you create or use an account, we may collect your email address, username, nickname, authentication provider identifier, profile picture URL, YouTube channel URL, channel description, and related profile settings. If you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers may share account information such as your name and email address according to the permissions you approve.

Content and Activity

React Central may store video links, titles, descriptions, sync timing data, categories, tags, public or private visibility settings, creator profile information, likes, saved videos, subscriptions, subscription notification preferences, reports, blocks, and moderation status. Some of this information is visible to other users when you publish or interact with public content.

Feedback and Support

If you send feedback, report content, or contact support, we may collect your message, selected issue type, contact email, app version, platform, current app path, account identifier, and any details you choose to include. Do not send private files unless support asks for them and you are comfortable sharing them.

Local Data on Your Device

The app stores watch history, resume positions, card progress, recent searches, recommendation filters, hidden videos, hidden creators, cached account data, and authentication tokens on your device. The app includes controls to clear local watch history and recent searches. Deleting local history does not delete your account, likes, saved videos, subscriptions, or uploaded content from our servers.

Mobile App Analytics, Diagnostics, and Performance

The React Central mobile apps use Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Installations, Firebase Sessions, and related Google or Firebase components. These services may process app events, crash reports, stack traces, non-fatal error reports, app state, breadcrumbs, custom diagnostic keys, app version, device and OS information, bundle ID, Firebase installation identifiers, session timing, network and performance metrics, country or region inferred from technical information, language, time zone, Remote Config rollout metadata, and developer-defined performance traces. When you are signed in, some analytics or diagnostic records may be associated with your React Central account identifier so we can investigate account-specific issues and improve reliability.

On Android, Google or Firebase components may access the Android Advertising ID, Android Privacy Sandbox AdServices attribution or ad ID identifiers, or install referrer metadata where available for analytics, attribution, diagnostics, reliability, and fraud or abuse prevention. React Central does not include an app-owned advertising SDK.

We use this information to understand feature usage, diagnose crashes, measure performance, configure app behavior, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and protect the service. We do not intentionally include passwords, authentication tokens, or imported private files in analytics or diagnostic logs.

Web Browser Data

When you use React Central on the web, your browser may store authentication tokens, cached account data, bookmarks, subscriptions, liked-video state, PWA install prompts, visit counters, display preferences, and service worker cache data. This data helps the website load, keep you signed in, remember interface state, and work more reliably. You can clear this data through your browser settings or by signing out where supported.

Web Cookies and Analytics

The React Central website may use cookies, local storage, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and similar technologies to understand traffic, diagnose performance, remember preferences, and improve the web service. Browser or cookie consent controls may let you limit some analytics or storage behavior. Essential storage may still be needed for login, security, caching, and core web features.

Automatically Processed Data

Our servers may receive standard technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, device or browser information, and security logs. We use this information to operate the service, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and keep React Central secure.

How We Use Information

Third-Party Services

React Central uses or may interact with services such as Apple Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance Monitoring, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Installations, Firebase Sessions, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, YouTube embeds, YouTube thumbnails and metadata, hosted media, analytics, email delivery, cloud hosting, and app distribution platforms. YouTube may show ads inside embedded playback. These services may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. React Central does not control their independent data practices.

Sharing

We share information when you choose to publish content or make profile details public, when needed to operate service providers, when required by law, when needed to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep account, content, activity, report, feedback, analytics, and security records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain safety, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. Local app history and browser storage remain on your device or browser until the app or website removes them under its retention settings, you clear them, you sign out where supported, or you uninstall the app.

Your Choices

You can update profile settings in the app or website, clear local watch history and recent searches in the app, clear browser cookies and site data through your browser, pause watch history, hide or block content locally, make supported content private, delete individual uploads where available, or delete your account from Settings. You can also use the account deletion page to request account and associated data deletion. Device settings, browser settings, and cookie controls may let you limit some analytics, storage, or third-party processing. You can also contact us at help@virtuedit.com for privacy questions.

Children

React Central is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the issue.

Changes

We may update this policy when React Central changes. The updated policy will include a new last updated date.
